Drawing and painting allows and enables Hein Botha to explore and express his understanding and connection with nature, objects, people, myths, space and time. All of which hone into his intuitive sensibility.

Hein feels that over time, this process of image making, echoes the ongoing shifting and shaping of his thoughts, and constantly refreshes his understanding of the world that we inhabit, along with its fellow creatives and life forms, that we share this precious planet with. In drawing, painting, pondering and image capturing, Hein hopes to add to the way we perceive, or look and relate to our world and our place amongst the stars.
